Yuncheng City in north China's Shanxi Province is famous for its colorful salt lakes. As the temperature continues to drop in the area, mirabilitea, a hydrous sodium sulfate mineral, crystallized on the lake surface, forming crystals that look like chrysanthemum flowers blooming in the water.
