Casualties were successfully averted by a 100,000-cubic-meter loess landslide because of an early warning in Yongjing County, southwest China's Gansu Province on January 27. The video shows the massive loess collapsing and a drone throwing a sensor onto the loess area. The device was able to recognize millimeter-sized landslide displacement to help issue an accurate warning.
