China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will receive 100,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines this week, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center of Macao.

The region has recorded 47 confirmed cases since the pandemic began, 46 of them were discharged from hospitals after recovery, while one confirmed patient, is being treated in isolation and is in stable condition.

As of Monday, no locally transmitted cases had been reported in Macao for 309 days, the center said.
