Supporters of different political parties took to the streets on Monday, with some clashing with police in the city of Yangon and other locations in Myanmar.

A handful of journalists were injured in front of the government office in Yangon.

Earlier, Myanmar's civil aviation authority announced that Myanmar's Yangon International Airport will be closed until the end of April.
