China has cracked down on the illegal trafficking of COVID-19 vaccines and the production  of counterfeit vaccines, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said in a daily news briefing on Tuesday. 

Chinese police have arrested more than 80 people who were making counterfeit COVID-19 vaccines, and seized "more than 3,000 doses of fake COVID-19 vaccines" in a campaign aimed at vaccine-related crimes, Xinhua reported on Monday.
