Rich countries are scrambling over limited vaccine supplies, while most developing nations are left out in the cold. Several international organizations have been working to fix this inequality, and one of them is CEPI, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations. It originally, together with WHO and GAVI, initiated the vaccine platform COVAX. CGTN host Tian Wei talked to Richard Hatchett, the CEO of the CEPI. He said that 2 billion doses of vaccines are to be provided by the end of the year.
