China's Mars probe Tianwen-1 conducted its fourth mid-course orbital correction at 8 p.m. Beijing Time on Friday, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA).

Earlier, the Tianwen-1 captured the first image of Mars at a distance of 2.2 million kilometers away from the planet.

By far, the Tianwen-1 has traveled more than 465 million kilometers for 197 days. It is 184 million kilometers away from Earth and 1.1 million kilometers away from Mars.

With all probe systems functioning well, it is expected to enter Mars orbit in the coming days.
