Arctic wolf Xixi recently gave birth to eight cubs, the first successful artificially bred octuplets of the subspecies in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Arctic wolf, also known as the white wolf, is related to the grey wolf, the largest of wild canines. Xixi is in a stable physical condition, while her cubs are under care at an animal hospital.
