Four kinds of COVID-19 vaccines, including the Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovac Biotech vaccines, are in their very last stage of assessment, said Mariangela Simao, the World Health Organization (WHO) assistant director-general for access to medicines, vaccines and pharmaceuticals, on Friday. 

Simao added that the WHO has sent experts to China to assess relevant equipment.
