Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Olympic Committee has expressed its confidence in Beijing as the host of next year's Winter Games. IOC President Thomas Bach sent his best wishes to Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group, as Beijing begins its one-year countdown to the 2022 Winter Olympics.
