WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Friday the number of people who have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine has overtaken the number of people infected, calling it a "remarkable achievement" in the global effort to stop the pandemic. However, he also said three quarters of those vaccinated were in just ten countries and warned more needs to be done to suppress the virus in all countries or we could "end up back at square one."
