Chinese families reunite online for Spring Festival with themed photos

Although the Spring Festival, a traditional holiday for family reunion in China, is around the corner, many migrant workers cannot go home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Every province in the country has introduced measures to encourage residents to stay where they work for the holiday and avoid going to high and middle risk regions.

To create a sense of togetherness, Chinese netizens have started an online activity to encourage people to take holiday-themed photos separately and piece their photo with that of their family apart.
