Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets of Myanmar's biggest city Yangon on Sunday. Demonstrators denounced the military's detainment of government leaders and demanded the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and other officials. Cell phone signals were mostly cut off after an internet blackout from the previous day.
There have been no confrontations so far.
