The popular streaming service, Xiami Music, will shut down on February 5, after 12 years in service. From 2015 to 2019, the scale of China's online music market grew from over 1 billion yuan to over 10 billion. In 2018, the market reached 7.6 billion yuan, up almost 60 percent year-on-year. And for other small-scale online music apps, will they follow the fate of Xiami? How can they survive?
