EU approves first shipment of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to Japan

The minister in charge of Japan's COVID-19 vaccination campaign, Taro Kono, said on Tuesday the European Union has approved the first shipment of Pfizer Inc's COVID-19 vaccine to Japan.

This shipment will help to kick off Japan's coronavirus vaccinations in mid-February.
