Japanese white-eye feeds on nectar in central China

A Japanese white-eye, a small passerine bird, was photographed on Friday feeding on nectar in Yichang City, central China's Hubei Province.

The tree-dwelling bird, with a distinctive white circle around its eyes, is a member of the white-eye family consisting of over 130 species.
