Tokyo Olympics athletes to be tested every four days for COVID-19

Athletes participating in the postponed Tokyo Olympics will be tested every four days and be barred from competing if they return a confirmed positive result, according to a rulebook released Tuesday by organizers.

The 33-page document also warns athletes they could be kicked out of their events if they break strict anti-virus rules, including no socializing, no handshakes and no hugs. The Tokyo Olympics will be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
