Twenty United Nations peacekeepers were injured in an attack on their base in central Mali on Wednesday, a UN spokesperson said.
Some of them have sustained serious injuries.
The base near the town of Douentza was attacked around 0700 GMT, a spokesman for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) mission, Olivier Salgado, told Reuters.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
