Drone footage shows long winding cracks on the surface of the frozen Butterfly Lake in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The cracks resemble tree branches but in the icy blue and white hues of the frozen lake. Authorities reported that cracks in the ice often occur following sudden temperature drops.
