The Russian Foreign Ministry posted a vlog on its official TikTok page, greeting the Chinese people celebrating the Lunar New Year on Friday.

"Hello everyone! Over the years, I have established this good tradition of congratulating my Chinese friends on the Lunar New Year. So will I this year," the ministry's spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in fluent Chinese.

"The Year of the Ox has come, and I wish you a happy Spring Festival, all the luck, and good health. Thank you all!" she said.
