The Phoenix Suns defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 120-111 at home on Saturday, achieving their fifth straight win. Devin Booker dropped a game-high 36 points for the Suns. His efforts plus the 18 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists by Chris Paul gave the 76ers, which still lead the Eastern Conference, their second consecutive loss.
"This [is] what I've been waiting on. Playing competitive basketball night in and night out. So it's been five years of keeping my head down, staying locked in and seeing tunnel vision, trying to play the right way through it all for these moments right here. So I don't wanna look back," said Booker, according to Arizona Sports. This was the third consecutive game in which the 24-year-old had at least 30 points.

Joel Embiid continued to show his dominance for the 76ers as he put down 35 points and eight rebounds. He also went 9-10 on the free throw line in the game. However, his team just could not stop Booker from having his way on the floor.
"We let him (Booker) get hot. Partially my fault. I let him get to the basket and get a couple easy ones. We had them pretty under wraps so we had them in a good spot to start, he wasn't too comfortable. Once he got a couple to drop going to get to the free-throw line. Then he got a couple to get hot, they set some good screens for him, we didn't get into the bodies like we're supposed to. We weren't physical enough with those guys," said Danny Green of the 76ers, according to Yahoo Sports.
"We just didn't have the ability to stay square for the most part. Booker makes tough shots and you'll always live with those. I thought overall, Ben (Simmons) did a pretty good job, especially in the first half. The times Booker scored, for the most part, was when Ben was off of him and someone switches," said 76ers Head Coach Doc Rivers.

Indiana Pacers 125-113 Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks suffered their third loss in a row on Saturday. It was also the seventh loss in the past 10 games. Having gone 1-6 so far in February, the team already dropped to 10th in the East.
Despite his 15 points and 14 assists, Trae Young was 3-9 in field goals in the game. The Hawks like Clint Capela's double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, but they will need Young to do much more if they want to make difference.

Doug McDermott became the biggest surprise for the Pacers at State Farm Arena on Saturday as he scored a court-high 26 points. Not only did he drain three triples, which he excelled at, McDermott also kept charging the rim and scored 10 points in the paint. After this win, the Pacers matched the Boston Celtics' record as No. 5 in the East.

Houston Rockets 99-121 New York Knicks
The Rockets left Madison Square Garden with the fifth straight loss. Without Victor Oladipo who sat on Saturday's game because of injury, John Wall and Eric Gordon together scored 50 points for the Rockets but their bench squad was outshone by its Knicks counterpart. Before Christian Wood comes back, the Rockets are expected to continue to struggle in future games.

Brooklyn Nets 134-117 Golden State Warriors
Putting down a total of 62 points, 18 rebounds and 26 assists together was not the best Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden could do, but it was good enough for them to walk over the Warriors at home. The Nets established a 15-point lead after the first half before turning the game into a long-gone conclusion with a 42-31 run in Q3.
Despite the loss, the Warriors expressed love for Durant who helped them win two titles in a row in 2017 and 2018. A tribute video was played at Chase Center to honor his return to Bay Area, but what better tribute than a logo shot by Stephen Curry.

Miami Heat 94-112 Utah Jazz
The Jazz achieved their seventh win in a row though it was nothing close to a pretty game at home on Saturday. As a team what has averaged 16.9 triples at 40.1 percent this season, the Jazz shot at only 26.09 percent from the arc against the Heat. Their star Donovan Mitchell was 3-12 from the 3-point line though he still made 26 points.
The Heat should blame themselves more for their loss as the team somehow fell into a scoring drought for over six minutes in the third quarter. During that period, they watched their trail grow from five to 22 – too big a lead for the Heat to come back from.
The Heat will be facing the Los Angeles Clippers, the Golden State Warriors, the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road in the following five games before returning home to host the Toronto Raptors. It does not seem like a pleasant trip judging by the Heat's current form.
