Pakistan's drug regulator approved phase 3 trials of another Chinese COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, according to local media.

The trials of the ZF2001 vaccine, developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a unit of Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products, will begin next week.

Pakistan has approved the emergency use of COVID-19 vaccines made by China's CanSino and Sinopharm.
