At least 18 soldiers from an ethnic armed group, the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS), were killed in a clash with the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP) in Shan State in northern Myanmar.
At least 10 RCSS soldiers were arrested, according to local media.
