The Chinese mainland recorded seven new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Wednesday.
No deaths related to COVID-19 were newly reported, the NHC said.
Six new asymptomatic cases were also recorded on Tuesday, and a total of 363 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland has reached 89,795, and the death toll stands at 4,636.
The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:
Hong Kong: 10,796 (10,232 recoveries, 195 deaths)
Macao: 48 (46 recoveries)
Taiwan: 937 (859 recoveries, 9 deaths)
