Frontier defense soldiers of the People Liberation Army (PLA) conducted another regular patrol along the snow-blanketed border at an elevation of 4,600 meters in Tibet Autonomous Region.
Soldiers had to go through a valley before climbing up a mountainous area to reach the final spot on their route. Braving the strong wind, they marched for two hours and stopped at the end of the valley for a short rest. Continuing with their mission, soldiers trudged along in the waist-deep snow on a steep slope of nearly 70 degrees.
