Experts from China and the World Health Organization (WHO) had candid, in-depth and friendly communications while working to trace the origin of COVID-19, Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Thursday.
Responding to statements by British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan questioning the effectiveness and independence of the WHO's work on tracing COVID-19's origin, Hua said the WHO had already made public its attitude in this regard.
