Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday stressed the importance of learning the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC), so as to let the Party better serve the people and lead the country to fully build a modern socialist country. Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks at a mobilization meeting on Party history learning and education in Beijing.
