Four people were injured after an explosion on a cargo vessel transporting coal, under the flag of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, happened in the waters of the Bay of Algeciras on Friday local time. 

The port authorities in Gibraltar and Algeciras have been in touch over the incident.

The Chinese Embassy in Britain has urged the local government to find out the cause of the accident as soon as possible.
