A bird lover captured a pair of Hainan partridges, a bird only found on southern China's Hainan island, on camera on February 6.
Fangcao from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province has been observing birds in the wild for years.
She recently observed 92 bird species during a four-day birdwatching trip to Hainan from February 5-8.
She said observing and photographing the Hainan bird was very difficult because the male bird remained very vigilant, constantly making warning calls.
