Amidst geopolitical and economic uncertainty, this year’s gathering of international security policy decision-makers at the Munich Security Conference meets under the theme of “Beyond Westlessness: Renewing Transatlantic Cooperation, Meeting Global Challenges”. But what does ‘Beyond Westlessness’ mean? Are Europe and America resetting the foundations of the transatlantic Alliance? Can the Biden administration undo the damage of the last four years?
