China on Tuesday reaffirmed its pledge to keep conducting vaccine cooperation within its capacity to help the international community overcome the COVID-19 pandemic as soon as possible.

Twenty-seven countries, mostly developing countries, have shown a willingness to import Chinese COVID-19 vaccines, and some have already received the shipments, said the country's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin at Tuesday's daily press briefing.

As promised, China is also providing vaccine aid to 53 developing countries, and some have already received the Chinese donations, Wang said.
