Chinese mainland reports 10 new COVID-19 cases, all from overseas

The Chinese mainland recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Tuesday.

No new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported, the NHC said.

Nine new asymptomatic cases were also recorded on Monday, and a total of 302 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland has reached 89,852, and the death toll stands at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 10,884 (10,404 recoveries, 197 deaths)

Macao: 48 (47 recoveries)

Taiwan: 942 (893 recoveries, 9 deaths)
