Huayuan County in central China's Hunan Province was one of the poorest areas in the Wuling Mountains. Two-thirds of its villages were impoverished. Shibadong Village was one of them. After building a high-standard kiwi plantation, the village shook off poverty in February 2017. How did kiwis help lift this Chinese village out of poverty?
