Senegal's Minister of Health and Social Action Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr became one of the first persons in the country to get a shot of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine, as the country kicked off its COVID-19 vaccination campaign on Tuesday. Other government officials and medical workers were also vaccinated. Senegal plans to begin by vaccinating health workers, people over 60 and those with underlying health conditions.
