In an exclusive interview with China Media Group, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said that Thailand, like China, is a developing country. Improving people's livelihood and increasing their income is the common goal of both the Thai and Chinese governments. Prayut stated that he's had repeated exchanges with Chinese President Xi Jinping on China's poverty alleviation, and is currently studying the application of China's successful poverty eradication experience in Thailand.
