Britain announced on Thursday sanctions against six more members of Myanmar's military figures, including Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, for their role in the recent power takeover.
"The authorities must hand back control to a government elected by the people of Myanmar," UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said in a statement.
