A heroic winter swimmer saved a 75-year-old Chinese woman trapped in the frozen sea off the coast of Huludao City, Liaoning Province, in northeast China. Recorded on February 19, the video shows Zhang Qiyi using a shovel to help him move along the icy surface toward the woman. Zhang even carried the woman to the shore on his back. According to reports, Zhang heard the woman shouting for help after he finished swimming. He then took off his clothes and returned to the sea to rescue her. Zhang had scratches on his legs, but the woman was saved.
