Twenty-five-year-old female right advocate Xu Ping is among China's youngest lawmakers. Lucky to survive in the devastating 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, Xu described her life as "blessed" for all the assistance she and her family has received from the local government and other caring people. "And I want to pass on that love," she told CGTN. In the upcoming session of China's top legislature – National People's Congress – she will raise suggestions in areas including equal employment opportunities for women, children's education and women's health.
