This is Yongan Middle School in Du'an Yao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The school has been dedicated to improving education for poverty-stricken children, which is considered the best route for escaping poverty. A variety of measures have been taken to help them, including granting students stipends, improving school facilities and nutrition, and helping more students from rural and impoverished areas to access higher education.
