Uruguay on Thursday received its first batch of China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine, making it the ninth Latin American country to receive the Chinese jab. On the following day, Chile also received a shipment, the fourth batch of the same vaccines. Additionally, Mexico's Health Ministry started inoculating people aged over 60 with the Chinese vaccines on Monday.
