According to the World Bank, 70 out of every 100 people in the world lifted out of poverty are from China. In 2020, China has eradicated extreme poverty as planned, 10 years ahead of the schedule set in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. But that's not the end. The country is continuing to contribute to global poverty eradication.
