The COVID-19 pandemic has so far claimed 60,073 lives in Iran, up by 93 in the past 24 hours, Iran's health ministry announced Sunday.

Iran reported 8,010 new coronavirus cases overnight, raising the total nationwide to 1,631,169 by Sunday, said Sima Sadat Lari, spokeswoman of Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education, during her daily briefing.
