The Chinese mainland on Sunday recorded five COVID-19 cases, all from abroad.

A growing number of countries have temporarily halted the use of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine following reports that some people who had been vaccinated developed blood clots.

But AstraZeneca said there's no evidence of an increased risk of blood clots.

Australia is "working with Singapore" to create a travel bubble between the two countries as early as July, officials said on Sunday, in an effort to restart tourism and travel.
