Chinese New Year Special: how to cope with homesickness?

China’s Spring Festival holidays are famous for delicious food, fireworks, and TV galas, but also as the biggest human migration on earth, as people across China return home to reunite with their families. But this year, given new outbreaks of Covid-19, many people are choosing not to make the trek to help prevent unintentionally spreading the virus. The decision can be especially heartbreaking for people who work far from their families and only go home once a year. How are people coping with the homesickness and loneliness from social distancing and lockdowns? How can people maintain their mental health during these stressful times?
