China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said today that 96% of households in China can access broadband Internet. Officials also said China will further lift restrictions on foreign investment in the telecom sector. It's not only a business gesture but also a political implication which indicates China's openness to foreign countries, professor John Gong from the University of International Business and Economics said.
