China's Five-Year Plan (FYP) system is formulated to map out economic and social development over the next five years. The first FYP started in 1953 while the most recent one ended last year. China is now drafting its 14th FYP (2021-2025), which will serve as a blueprint for a new era and a new journey for the country.
