Lao Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith congratulated China on the opening of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress and the fourth session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in a meeting with Jiang Zaidong, Chinese ambassador to the Laos, on Friday.

Saleumxay wished the Two Sessions a great success and thanked China for its assistance in the fight against COVID-19, adding that the Laos is willing to work with China to develop ties and improve the China-Laos friendship.
