One killed as Myanmar police open fire on protesters

Police opened fire on protesters on Friday in the Myanmar city of Mandalay, killing one person, witnesses and media said.

The young man was shot in the neck and died, media said. Since the military takeover started, 50 people have been killed, the UN said.
