These Siberian ibexes came down the mountain to search for food as they bid farewell to the long winter and warmer spring approaches in Hejing County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. 

The Siberian ibex, also known as the Altai ibex or Gobi ibex, is now under second-class state protection in China and its population has been growing steadily in recent years.
