Encountering Eld's deer in Hainan, S China

Hainan Eld's deer is one of the most precious deer species in China. It is listed under first-class national protection. Built in 1976, Hainan Datian Eld's Deer Nature Reserve is home to more than 400 deer and over 100 other wild animal species. CGTN Nature film crew were blessed with luck to encounter some of the deer loitering beside a lake while filming in the reserve.
